It accomplishes this by extracting the fax image from an analog signal and carrying it as a digital data over the packet network. The E-mail fax system allows user to send and receive faxes using a regular fax number(s) over the Internet by using any E-mail account. Fax machines, fax servers and fax services continue to evolve towards a FoIP strategy (sometimes referred to as VoIP Fax)
