If x and y vary directly, find the values of x, y and z:

Ans : x and y are in direct variation
∴ 3/36 = x/60 = y/96 = 10/z
⇒ 3/36 = x/60, 3/36 = y/96, 3/36 = 10/z
x = 3/36 × 60, y = 3/36 × 96
z = 10 × 36/3
⇒ x = 5, y = 8, z = 120
